S-Wipe Cleaning Cloth - Review

Nearly all of us own some sort of smart device, weather its an iPad, a kindle, an iPhone or some other form of smart phone, and with daily use our devices can get grubby in no time. If you are anything like me I am constantly giving my iPhone screen a little rub or wipe down with my cuff or what ever I have handy.

Even with a screen protector on , I find my phone is forever collecting prints and smears, so I was happy to receive a great handy little cleaning cloth called the S- Wipe. It is specifically designed to remove dirt, finger prints and smudges from your devices. The cloth itself is made from 100% premium microfibre and unlike a lot of cheaper cloths on the market doesn't leave any fibres on your screen. Its super soft and really does leave your screen dazzling and clean.
I recommend the S-Wipe to anyone who likes to keep their devices looking clean, shiny and new!

First place - "Egg-cellent"

I was so pleased when I heard that Aalliyahs school were holding an egg decorating competition as this is something that was never done in her old school and she had so much fun (as she does with anything crafty) making it.
Aalliyah decided early on that she wanted to do something in keeping with the traditional Easter story of Christ's Resurrection.
So who better to model your egg on that the Lord himself! Very surprisingly (given that she attends a Catholic school) she seemed to be the only pupil who chose something remotely linked to Jesus and the story of Easter.

So here is the finished product!

She had a blast making it, using odds and ends from her craft box and then raiding my first aid kit for some bandages (Robes) Making this also inspired her to go online and read a little more on the story of Easter which is fab, I remember re-learning the story every year at school, so it was nice to read it together.

Another bonus was that her egg came in first place which she was over the moon about. She was grinning from ear to ear when I picked her up from school and managed to bag herself a yummy Easter egg and some cool Easter pens.

I am also entering Aalliyahs egg into another competition over at the Polarn O.Pyret Facebook page. Click the link below to find out more about their competition where you could win a gorgeous bunny and maybe a £50 shopping spree with them :-)

Best of luck!

Have you been egg decorating yourselves? I am looking forward to Easter Sunday and to doing more crafty things with Aalliyah as well as her making her tradition Easter bonnet!

The Snugg - Review

The Snugg offer a wide range of cases and accessories for all your tablet, Ipad and smart phone needs. So weather it's a case for your kindle or a watch strap for your Ipod nano, The Snugg have got you covered.

Nearly all of us own some form of smart phone and or tablet, which means thousands of units being sold every day. Now with all them top of the range gadgets being sold, repairing them is becoming just as big a business, with America being said to have spent over six billion dollars, just on Iphone repairs and or replacements alone. So if you are going to splash out a Kindle or a new Ipad mini, then its imperative that you buy protection for it! No I don't mean those little rubber things in the foil packets.. I'm talking covers!

I had the pleasure of being able to review a fabulous Ipad cover from "Thesnugg.co.uk" and they are the best by far that I have seen around anywhere. The particular cover that I reviewed, was a brown leather case for the Ipad 1, which also doubled up a stand, which was perfect for facetiming/skyping and catching up with my favourite shows on iplayer.

The quality of the cover was absolutely fantastic, very soft leather and with a super soft lining inside, guaranteed to keep your Ipad scratch free.

Along with the brown leather case and stand I also received a fantastic little case that fits perfectly onto your cards headrest, which when teamed with the case lets you take your Ipad anywhere. Perfect for the kids on road trips, they can play games or watch movies, making for an easy ride for mum and dad.

Overall I was extremely pleased with the covers, they were of the highest quality and so simple and easy to use. What's more they are so sure that you will love their products, they also come with a lifetime guarantee!

Reasons To Be Cheerful #R2BC

Easter is almost upon us which means school holiday time again! Most parents do nothing but moan about there kiddies being off but I have to admit, I enjoy having Aalliyah at home and feel lost when she goes back to school after time off. (I must be mad!) I'm hoping  to do alot of fun things in the holidays including the usual egg hunt, Easter crafts and some baking. Lets hope the weather is nice enough for some days out. Not even lots of heat, but just no snow would be great!

What has put a smile on your face this week?

Red - The Gallery

Wow .. Feels good to be back...

Anyway, this weeks theme for "The Gallery" is RED.

So here's my picture. Yes it's a picture of me, and yes it's a bit self indulgent but who cares, I have a reason to be a show off this week after being presented with a certificate of achievement at last weeks weigh in for losing 50 lbs! So this weeks gallery is my chance to show off a bit and enjoy the fact that I actually liked seeing a photo of myself for the first time in a very long time!

Why not head over to Sticky Fingers and check out the other gallery entries :-)
